The project is called Plan Ogden. Its purpose is to develop a new citywide vision and to perform a comprehensive update to the city's General Plan. The Vision and General Plan will address topics, such as housing, transportation, open space, economy, utilities, the environment, and much more.
The community helped create the citywide vision that has guided the updates to the city's general plan. At the November 20th General Plan Open House at the Union Station at 5:30 p.m., the community will be able to review all of the parts of the updated general plan. Visualizations, posters, and a 3D virtual experience will all be part of this exciting event. Come and see what the community has created. This is your opportunity to see how the general plan is being updated based on the community's vision. You can provide additional input on the city's future plans by doing phone polling as you participate in the open house. This event will cater to both English and Spanish speakers. Free food and drinks will be provided at the event. Come see what we have created together!
Following this event, the consultant team will review community feedback and make final touches to the plan before it holds workshops with the Planning Commission and City Council.
