Biography
Flor Lopez, born in California, raised in Mexico, and proud to call Ogden home since 2016, is the elected Ogden City Councilmember for District 1. She is the Founder and CEO of Phoenix Business Solutions, a local firm serving individuals and small businesses, and she brings a strong record of civic and nonprofit involvement across Ogden. A dedicated community advocate, Flor leads with a deep commitment to civic engagement and the belief that Ogden thrives when every resident from the East Bench to the West Side is heard, respected, and represented.
Flor holds a degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Development, and she has earned professional accounting certifications, combining technical expertise with financial and operational experience in service to local families and entrepreneurs. Above all, Flor is a proud mother of two daughters, who are the reason behind everything she does fueling her commitment to build an Ogden where families feel safe, empowered, and proud to call the city home.
