Learn to Swim Scholarship Program
The purpose of the Learn to Swim Scholarship Program is to provide opportunities for families experiencing financial hardship to access swimming lessons (and a free swimsuit if needed) as swimming lessons save lives, and everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim.
Criteria
To qualify for a Learn to Swim scholarship, applicants must be residents of Ogden City and meet one of the following qualifications:
- Currently accepted into the Fee Waiver Program provided by Ogden City Recreation.
- Participant in the Free and Reduced Lunch program.
- Participant in the Head Start Program.
- Recipient of Medicaid, SSI, TANF, SNAP, or other public assistance programs.
- Proof of GEHA insurance coverage.

Submission: The application and proof of criteria can be submitted in one of the following ways:
